Sedlak, Klein to Keynote 2024 Next Generation Water Summit

Esteemed leaders and experts David Sedlak and Gary Klein are set to keynote the 2024 Next Generation Water Summit (NGWS) on June 20 and 21, respectively. Join us for these exciting keynotes at this year’s event, “Solutions in a Changing World.”  Each keynote will begin at 9:00am local time.

David SedlakDavid Sedlak, author of “Water for All” and Professor at University of California, Berkeley, will deliver a highly-anticipated keynote address on June 20 drawing connections among seemingly disparate problems as a powerful means of bringing about change.

“It is not your imagination; water crises are arriving at a greater frequency because the twentieth-century approach to water cannot keep up with our new reality,” Sedlak stated. “Although water is a big challenge, I am hopeful that together we can solve any crisis. If we open our minds to new ideas and act before crises get out of hand, I am certain that we can realize Water for All.”

Gary KleinGary Klein, a pioneer in energy efficiency and renewable energy since 1974, will present as you’ve never seen him before in his keynote on June 21st. Mr. Klein has a passion for hot water: getting into it, getting out of it, and efficiently delivering it to meet customers’ needs. He is widely regarded as the nation’s pre-eminent hot water expert. Reflecting on his journey into the field of water conservation and efficiency, Gary Klein draws inspiration from experiences in Lesotho, the California Energy Commission, and others.

“I’m looking forward to the opportunity to share 50 years’ worth of observations about what works, what doesn’t and why water is so undervalued… and what we can do about it,” said Klein.
